Identify birds in seconds on your PC and phone
The RSPB have created an easy to use online tool for those of us who need a little help in identifying birds in the UK. The brand new bird identifier allows you to discover what you are seeing using the internet or your mobile phone, by typing in just a few simple features such as colour, size and shape.
It’s really easy to use and the RSPB hopes it will encourage people of all ages who simply enjoy the outdoors and wildlife to learn a little more about what they are seeing.
117 birds are included on the ID list including all the most common and some of the more unusual UK garden birds. The identifier will soon be expanded to include birds of the wider countryside too.
