South Essex Wildlife Hospital
Dedicated to putting ‘life' back into the ‘wild‘, SEWH is a wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and public advice charity. We care for sick and injured wildlife and aim to release animals back into the wild.No injured or sick animal is turned away, so the hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, staffed only by dedicated volunteers. SEWH relies entirely on donations.
We deal with ALL injured, orphaned or sick wildlife, including hedgehogs , badgers, squirrels, deer, foxes, swans, ducks, geese and any other birds, frogs, toads, lizards, snakes. In fact anything that lives wild in the British countryside or our towns. We cover a wide area across much of Essex, East and North London and North Kent from our hospital which is based in Orsett, Essex (just 5 minutes from Lakeside Shopping Centre).
If you find a sick, injured or baby animal or bird please call us on 01375 893893 for advice on what to do. See HERE for more details.
