Good Causes,environment & wildlife charities and conservation campaigns

There are many many worthwhile good causes, charities and campaigns, most of which do fantastic work in a huge variety of different fields. We have chosen to highlight some of them for no other reason that they are the ones we know about and have some information on. It is not an exhasutive list, or even close to it, but we will keep expanding it every week in the hope that just a little publicity will help them with their goals.

  • Herpetological Conservation Trust - The Herpetological Conservation Trust is dedicated to amphibians and reptiles and lead the UK's conservation efforts for these animals.
  • Fauna & Flora International - FFI acts to conserve threatened species and ecosystems worldwide, choosing solutions that are sustainable, are based on sound science and take account of human needs.
  • ElefantAsia - Working to save Asia's elephants.
  • The Ingwe Leopard Project - carries out research into leopard behaviour and numbers in Mpumalanga, South Africa.
  • Panthera - saves in situ populations of the world's 36 species of wild cats and the landscapes they inhabit in all regions of the world.
  • The John Muir Trust - The John Muir Trust is the UK's leading wild land conservation charity. 
  • People's Trust for Endangered Species - The People's Trust for Endangered Species was founded in 1977 with the aim of helping to ensure a future for many species of endangered creatures worldwide.
