ElefantAsia
ElefantAsia is a non-profit international initiative for the conservation of the Asian elephant. The 50,000 asian elephants are under increasing threat of extinction.
If these last elephants were to vanish, the ecological tragedy would be compounded by a huge cultural loss in the region. Throughout Asia, and in Laos especially, elephants are considered sacred.
