Job Description
BBOWT is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management across the 3 counties and actively working to educate and encourage all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife. College Lake is a nature reserve and education centre near Tring and is the main visitor site for the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust in Buckinghamshire.
BBOWT is looking for an enthusiastic individual to work on their community nature reserves across Berkshire, helping to deliver practical site management and supporting the associated volunteer groups. You will also help to support all volunteering throughout the county, plan and deliver inspiring public events and aid in the delivery of onsite interpretation. A broad understanding of woodland and wetland habitats along with previous experience of working with community groups or volunteers would be advantageous. You will enjoy working with people of all ages and sharing your wildlife skills and knowledge.
