New photos of Ivory-billed woodpecker claims29/01/2010 23:46:16 Last throw of the dice for the 'God bird'January 2010. Someone by the name of Daniel Rainsong is claiming that he took two photos of an Ivory-billed woodpecker in Texas' southern Sabine River basin. The bird was allegedly spotted and photographed twice. This momentous news is somewhat dampened by the fact that virtually no one believes it is true.
Mr Rainsong claims to have lodged his images with certain university experts, but he won't release the images until the experts have confirmed this sighting. Perhaps it was a Gloucester Old Spot that Mr Rainsong saw fly by?

Yes I am not known in ornithological circles because I am not an expert in this field just an interested student horribly mislead by the pathetic attempts of an old man. Daniel Rainsong is a liar and a cheat. I went with him on a scientific expedition in search for the Ivory-billed Woodpecker and we didn't find a single one. He claims to have a photo of it, but as I was the photographer and I didn't see such bird it seems strange he would have such picture, yes? Strange to me as well.
He has a brother, Joe Hepperle, who is a wiz on the computer and has surely conjured something special up for his brother, formerly Daniel Hepperle- he changed his name after stealing birds in Arkansas in the 80's, real trusting fella that one.
He still hasn't paid me for the work I did; he stole $10,000 from his ailing mother for this trip oh and Rita Goldstein is his sister. Anything she saw would presummably be a lie as well.
