The nature of London - wildlife film-makers take on the capital16/06/2010 17:55:25What do you know about the wildlife of London? A small team of natural history documentary makers are currently working on an hour long film about the wildlife found in London. Commissioned by the BBC Natural History Unit for their Natural World series, the film will be a beautiful and fascinating portrait of the city, broadcast on BBC2 and beyond in London's Olympic year, when all eyes on the capital. The film-makers, from Oscar winning independent production company Passion Pictures, are keen to find about London wildlife and about the people who are touched by it. They want the film to show human interactions with urban nature, as well as showing the wildlife in all its stunning glory. They're after great stories about wildlife in London, spectacular things to film and interesting Londoners to speak to.
The film-makers are asking Londoners with wild stories to tell to get in touch. They are also trying to get to the bottom of various urban myths about creatures living in the capital.
