Blue whale fluke off Sri Lanka
Many hours beyond the shipping lanes off the South Coast of Sri Lanka rewarded me with this fluke from a huge Blue Whale. It is really the only shot you are likely to get worth keeping of these magnificent mammals as they do not breach (hardly surprising considering their weight).
Notice the symbiotic remora fastened to the tail.
