Killing time.

As discussed before it is the moment of impact or the moment before that is the most enticing photographically. Tracking focus on the slow moving croc is not hard, this one was in a killing frenzy, not eating any of the five wildebeest it despatched. It was slightly underexposed as the sun was very bright on the water.

Traditionally, there are about eight favourite vantage points where the vast wildebeest herds are known to cross the Mara River. Unfortunately for the wildebeest, the local crocodiles know this too, and usually just lie in wait for their supper. Some of these crocs are huge, and rely on the wildebeest for their main meal of the year. This is one of the main events that draws tourists to the Masai Mara
