Hipswell Habitat and Bramble Wood
Habitat and Bramble Wood combine to make a rich habitat for wildlife. There are plenty of spots to just sit and take in nature and we also have small picnic areas on the sight so it is great for families.
Wildlife highlights: You can see a variety of birds such as longtailed tits, nuthatches and siskins. We also have a wildlife pond where you can see frogs and toads and it is over run with tadpoles in the Spring! In the woods we have put up many nest boxes including owl boxes, which have bee used in the past. You can also see grey squirrels, rabbits and other wildlife here, and we have a lovely meadowland where you can see a wide variety of wildflowers, and our wood has many different trees.
Location: Smuts Road, next to the Army Welfare Service in Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire. Near the Historical town of Richmond. All are welcome.
