Naunton Court Fields

Naunton Court Fields consist of two arable fields that are farmed in a wildlife friendly way to conserve rare arable plants, the most threatened plant group in Britain today. At 41 acres the site is of national importance for rare arable plants - one of the best of its type in the UK and possibly in Europe. Also at risk with the arable plants are the insects and bird species that depend on them.

Wildlife highlights: The meadows and hedges support populations of skylarks and grasshopper warblers, butterflies and insects while the Piddle Brook is home to kingfishers and otters.

Location: Park on the side of the B4082 about 120 yards north of the turn to Naunton Beachamp and enter the reserve by the gate on the eastern side of the road. Please keep to the field edges.

These maps are intended as a guideline only; you must check the exact location of the reserve yourself. Wildlife Extra assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or usefulness of the information on this website.
