Barmston Pond Local Nature Reserve

The first nature resreve decalared by Sunderland council, Barmston Pond is especially good for birds.

What you might see at Barmston Pond: Black headed gull, Black tailed Godwit, Common gull, coot, dunlin, goldcrest, Grey heron, Herring gull, kestrel, lapwing, mallard, moorhen, redshank, snipe, teal, whimbrel.
