Brockhampton Estate
The Brockhampton Estate comprises of 1700 acres of Dingle woodlands, old orchards, unimproved grasslands, parkland and mixed farmland. There are miles of walks through the park and woodland, featuring ancient trees, the picturesque Lawn Pool, and various sculptures depicting parts of the history of Brockhampton and the local area.
This is home to a rich variety of wildlife, along with historic farming breeds such as Hereford cattle and Ryeland sheep.
Wildlife highlights: Veteran trees supporting nationally important wood decay fauna, mistletoe fauna (first British record for the mistletoe weevil Ixapion variegatum), black poplar, lesser horseshoe & other bats.
Location: On the Worcester road (A44) just east of Bromyard.
