Durness Beach

Durness is a long way north, and can be a wild spot. But the rewards for a long journey can be spectacular. The scenery is quite amazing, and the wildlife can match.

Wildlife highlights: You can see otters, seals, dolphins, sea-eagles, fulmars, puffins (some 200 species of bird recorded here) and even the occasional passing Orca.

Location: If you are in the UK somewhere, keep heading north. Durness is on the northern coast of Scotland.
