Flamborough Head

Flamborough Cliffs are best know for the eabird colonies that live on the large cliffs. But the grassland and surrounding farmland are rich in thers birds and invertebrates alike. There is also good rockpooling to be had along the shore.

Wildlfe highlights: Many thousands of each of puffins, kittiwakes, guillemots and razorbills adorn the cliffs in summer. Fieldfare and redwing are common in winter, and it is also a good place to see migrantsin spring and autumn.

The grasslands hold plenty of butterflies.

Location and access: East o Bridlington on the Yorshire Coast. Take the B1255 from Bridlington.There is a car park at North Landing, and toilets are available there. There is a path around the reserve (not suitable for wheelchairs) that takes about 1.5 hours to follow.
