Llyn Eiddwen Nature Reserve

Llyn Eiddwen nestles in an upland mire three hundred metres above sea level. The surrounding vegetation is rich with plant species such as bottle sedge and water horsetail. The lake itself is ten and a half hectares in size.

Highlights: In winter the lake attracts coot, mallard, pochard, teal, and wigeon. Part of the flock of whooper swan which winter in central Ceredigion also appear here.

Access: Open all year round. Entrance is free
