Oare Marshes
Oare Marshes consists of over 81 hectares of freshwater dykes, open water ‘scrapes', seawall and saltmarsh. The reserve is of international importance for migratory, over-wintering and breeding wetland birds. The reserve supports a spectacular and diverse range of wetland bird life, and viewing is made easy by nature trails and bird hides. The habitat is made suitable for wildlife partly through livestock grazing.
