Campfield Marsh RSPB
Campfield Marsh, on the Solway estuary, has saltmarsh, wet grassland and areas of open water. In the winter, wildfowl use the grassland and open water areas. The wader roost can be seen from the lay-bys along the road edging the estuary and saltmarsh.
Open at all times.
Highlights: At high tide, thousands of wading birds including oystercatchers, knots, grey plovers and bar-tailed godwits roost.
