Fore Wood RSPB

This small woodland reserve is managed by coppicing. A wide range of woodland birds breed including spotted flycatchers and great and lesser spotted woodpeckers. Bluebells, wood anemones and early purple orchids are abundant in the spring. As the nature trail in the wood can be muddy, stout footwear is recommended.
