Warburg Nature Reserve

A magical place to visit throughout the year with excellent visitor facilities.

Warburg is the premier nature reserve of the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust and nestles in the tranquil Bix valley near Henley-on-Thames in Oxon.

The mixture of chalk grassland and ancient woodland makes it an ideal site for birds and butterflies. Over 2,000 species of plant, animal and fungus have been recorded here.

Visitor facilities:
visitor centre open 9am to 5pm, Tel: 01491 642001
picnic area, toilets, surfaced car parking. Location: 4 miles north-west of Henley-on-Thames. On B480 just north of Middle Assendon; take second left,
50 m after The Rainbow pub; follow twisty lane along valley floor for 2¼ miles.
