Foxholes Nature Reserve

A beautiful woodland haven famed for its spectacular spring bluebells and abundant bird life – but don’t miss the fungi later in the year!

Once part of the ancient Wychwood Forest, this tranquil woodland slopes gently down to the River Evenlode in west Oxfordshire.

Location: Just south of the Foscot to Idbury road. Park at Foxholes, on a very small road from Foscot.
