Whale and dolphin ID from the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society

The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society have launched an identification guide for all the 85 currently recognised species of whales, dolphins and porpoises, collectively known as ‘cetaceans'.

The cetacean ID guide provides an introduction to each species as well as the threats that face the species, an estimate to the number alive, the size, distribution and habits, and a distribution map. Most species have a series of images as well.
